Which remote program to use ????

Hello all,

I just opened a new office across town from my home office. I'm the only one
in both offices and don't have any servers or anything like that. I just
have a desktop in my office and a laptop in my home. Both are running XP
Home.

I want to be able to have access to my work desktop while at home (check
email [Outlook2002], view folders, and use some programs). I've been advised
to look at one of the free remote access programs available. The three I've
heard of are:

1.) Real VNC (www.realvnc.com)

2.) Tight VNC Software (www.tightvnc.com)

3.) Ultra VNC (http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net/)

Does anyone have any experience with any of them? If so, what was your
feedback on them?

Thanks in advance.

I would recommend UltraVNC simply because you can get an encryption plug-in for it. That means
enhanced security, particularly if you use it outside of a VPN tunnel.
