Is there a way I can open documents saved to a floppy
from Windows ME on my new computer with Windows XP Media
Center? Could someone please help, Thank You

Windows -- whether it is Win 95, Win ME, Win XP or any other flavor --
is only an operating system (sort of). It does not create or use
"documents." You will need to install an application such as Microsoft
Word or Corel's WordPerfect on your new computer that is able to
interpret the documents created by whatever application was installed on
your old computer. Although such an application program may have been
bundled with Windows ME on your old computer, it was not part of WinME.

On the other hand, if you can't even read the floppy disk (for example,
you are getting error messages that suggest that there is nothing on the
floppy disk, or that it needs to be formatted), see:

The difference between operating systems is irrelevant. There
should be no problem doing what you want *if* you have the
appropriate application installed on your Windows XP machine.

Have you tried to open these documents? What happened when you
did? If you got an error message, please quote it verbatim.
