Windows XP "Do you want to close all tabs?"

Hi All,

Lately I have been experiencing a problem using IE 7. If I open a new browsing window (not just a new tab in the same window), and then go back to the previously opened window by clicking on the bottom taskbar, I get the "Do you want to close all tabs?" dialog box. It has only just started happening.
Also, sometimes when I open a new browser window, the old one automatically closes!

I have recently started using a wireless mouse and keyboard (Microsoft multimedia keyboard 1.1). Could that be the reason for the problem?

Did you install the IE8 beta at any point? I've heard that some people that rolled back to IE7 had a similar problem.

The first thing I would do is run IE7 in no-addons mode to see if it is a plugin causing the problem:

Hi Ian, Thanks for replying to my question.

I tried what you said, but it seems to still be happening. I haven't tried the IE8 beta. The only thing I can think of that is new is the mouse/keyboard. Tomorrow I might try using the old ones, and see if the problem persists.
