Do I really need these programs installed on my computer?

It is amazing how many programs I have installed on this computer that I
never use. My concern is, however, that in uninstalling them I will have
removed something essential for my machine to operate smoothly. Please look
at the following list of programs I'm thinking about uninstalling an tell me
if you think if it would be wise to leave them on my machine.

Digital line detect
Learn2 Player
Microsoft Works 2005 Setup Launcher
Modem Helper
MSXML 4.0 SP2(series of numbers)
Musicmatch for Windows MEdia Player AND Musicmatch Jukebox (How these are
different from the regular Musicmatch I know not)
Netwaiting
Power DVD (what???)
Studio 9 (ditto)
Viewpoint Media Player
Virtools 3D Life Player
WexTech Answer Works

The only one I would keep would be Power DVD as it's an excellent
program to use for watching DVDs.

WexTech Answer Works comes along with other programs as part of help files.

AnswerWorks 4.0 comes with AutoCAD LT 2007. I had to search all over to
figure out where the hell it came from. ;-)

MSXML 4.0 SP2(series of numbers) is probably MSXML 4.0 SP2 (KB927978), it is
a Security Update. See this...

MS06-071: Security update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927978

If not causing you problems you better keep it. BTW, I got that link by
clicking on MSXML 4.0 SP2 (KB927978) in add or Remove Programs and clicking
on Click here for support information.
