Hi,

I have read that some cases require the motherboard to be upside down which
is bad because then the heat from the buttom chips melt the upper chips
etc.. (Lian Li cases have this problem).

I am interested in these two chieftec case, but wonder if the motherboards
can be mounted correctly ?

The 6 harddisk version:

The 8 harddisk version:

http://www.chieftec.com/products/Workcolor/BA-01.htm

(There are some things I dont like about this case:
1. I only need 1 floppy disk drive bay.
2. I don't like the door.
3. I only need 1, 2 or 3 external 5.25 inch drive bays not 6 ;) )

(So the case could have been a bit less height but still have 8 hd's ;) )

Bye,
Skybuck.

I haven't seen a motherboard manual that has any mounting position
requirements. If they have anything it'll be what holes to use/not to
use to hold it.
