Dnsapi and No Domain Controller Available

I'm getting two messages in the event viewer.
NETLOGON - No Windows Domain Controller was available..
NO logon servers to service the logon request.

Basically, my SQL/Terminal server can't seem to
authenticate to the Domain Controller or Primary server
which has the user accounts. But users accounts are
stored there, and printers print from there.

I think there is a sid issue. Our company owns SMALL
BUSINESS SERVER and Server2000 Standard. Some contractor
refreshed their server using Small Business Server, which
we reloaded, but I don't recall rebuilding the
SQL/Terminal server since. I was trying to decide if a
mismatch in the SIDS would cause a failure.

I get messages like Windows time service was not able to
locate a Domain Controller.

The worst thing is sometimes it tries to do something, and
it starts flooding packets, knocking me off the router and
I have to restart the SQL/Terminal Server and things work
fine for a couple hours, then again I get a packet flood
after a logon event which fails.

I'm close, but my brain is tired and I'm not super
experienced at troubleshooting this type thing..

Any suggestions are needed.

Thanks, Bill

The SBS has to be the king in the forest, you do know that?
Check the ipconfig/all on the server. How many nics in the server? Does DNS
point *only* to the server IP?
If the SBS was rebuild, are the clients rejoined?
