I am running IE6 v 6.0.2800.1106 with 128 bit encrypt.

I have installed Service Pack 1 and the following patches:
Q824125, Q330994, Q313829, Q832894, Q837009, and Q831167

I have run all malware and bho scanning software to no
avail.

I have my browser set to use YAHOO for all searches
including address bar autosearch. I have my IE6 "Search
from the address bar" options set to "Just display search
results in the main window."

When I type any phrase into my address bar, instead of
finding myself at YAHOO with my search results, as has
been the case for the last 5 years, I get my phrase parsed
in the address line (in this instance, my phrase was
sport.)

http:///? sport

And I get an error screen that says:

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The
Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or
you may need to adjust your browser settings.

yaa dah yaa dah yaa dah

Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer

=====================

When I click my search icon in the tool bar and open a
search frame I DO get YAHOO.

However, when I click on the CUSTOMIZE button in the
search frame I get

"Service Unavailable - DNS Failure - The server is
temporarily unable to service your request. Please try
again later."

Can anyone tell me what I have going on here?

Thanks,

Microsoft has lost a link or redirect site on their network.

It looks like they are no longer supporting Autosearch!
