DNS problem

I have a home LAN with 3 computers (2 winxp and 1 win7pro). One of the xp
computers can't be seen in network neighborhood (but previously used to work
fine).
When I ping this computers IP address it works fine but when I ping its name
it can't be found. The settings on all the computers are to obtain IP and
DNS automatically.
I tried repairing the network connection on the problem computer and also
releasing and renewing the DHCP on the router but neither worked. Any
suggestions?

Read this and follow its suggestion:

If that doesn't help, see:
