Dan

I knocked a cable loose while installing a second hard drive.
After several attempts to reboot I discovered the problem
and corredted it. When I rebooted I received several error
messages, some of which I was unable to resolve. I
reinstalled the operating system (XP) but am still getting
this error message:

RUNDLL
Error loading C:\windows\system32\NvCpl.dll. A dynamic
link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.

The system seems to run OK but I am no longer able to
establish a dial-up connection. Thanks for your help.

Well, I have some good news. NvCpl.dll belongs to your video card (it's the
nVidia control panel.) Reinstalling the video card should solve that
problem.

I've never had a dial-up connection so I can't help you there.
