Distorted audio in captured files

I use a ALL IN WONDER RADEON 9800 card. and the sound on captured files is
distorted. While watching video or TV, the sound is perfect. Where is the
problem ? The parameters are OK !!

Possibly the record level is too high resulting
in clipping. Open the audio in a wave editor
such as soundforge or goldwave, and if's
it clipping it will be obvious.
