Hi there, I had an old computer that was full of junk, old image files,
music and just all sorts of rubbish that slowed the machine down so I decided
to uninstall xp pro then do a clean install. All went fine with the
re-installation until I got to the desk top and found that there were no
icons, the start bar is still there with mimimal programs but as i said, no
icons. Any ideas on how I could get these back, or is this the norm with new
installations? Do I have to manually add my own desktop icons or is
something wrong? Any help would br much appriciated, thanks!
