displaying incoming messages differently

Hello .. I have tried to display incoming messages horizontally rather than vertically which I find annoying .. any suggestions .. thanks, N
 
What sort of incoming messages are you getting in Word? I would guess you're
getting them in Outlook, and adding the microsoft.public.word.newusers NG
was an error? Follow-up set to microsoft.public.outlook only.

While in "Mail"...
"View" menu, then "Reading Pane" click "Bottom"

Is this what you meant?
