Display/View problem

Just bought a new IBM ThinkPad R51 with XP and any application that I open
displays the bottom of the page and won't allow me to scroll up. For
example, IE opens and the bottom of the home page is what I see, when I try
to use the scroll bar or mouse to move up and see the top of the page, it
won't work. Happens in every application, Outlook, Word, even non MS
products. Please help.
 
Just grab the phone and talk with someone at IBM.

The explanataion given doesn't help to get a handle on your problem, so
maybe when you talk with the IBM folks they can get you fixed up very quikly
or send out a new Laptop.
 
Ok thank you. I really didn't know how else to describe it - very strange.
