display properties - restarting computer

Some how my resolution has been changed and I can not access Display
properties. I am able to access the Control Panel but when I try to go into
Display my computer restarts. Everything else seems to work fine in the
Control Panel and the internet, Word, Excel, etc. but the resolution is
terrible
 
Try downloading and installing the latest Windows 2000 driver for your
graphics adapter while in safe or vga mode.
