Display Name in To:

When sending out a new message. After choosing a contact from the contact
list it displays the contacts email in the "To:" area. Is there a way to
have it default and display the contacts actual name. This is so that when
going back though the sent emails, the person can type the contacts name,
since the person remembers names and not email addresses for the people he
contacts, to see what he has sent out.

Depends on your Outlook version which remains your secret.

Sorry, its Outlook 2003. What Mary posted, works most of the time. But
sometimes it just doesn't change. Othertimes it displays weird when viewing
the contact with and Outlook 2000 client. Like the first letter of the name
will be in "Display Name" area, then the next letter in the "Email" and so
on.

Each version of Outlook has used different conventions for constructing the
Email Display As field. You manual overrides will work for Contacts created
in Outlook 2003, but may not if they were created in earlier versions.
