Display is too big!

Everything on my screen is too big - probably 150-200%.
I've tried the display menu in the desktop and the
accessibility and all the settings are on small. However,
all the programmes, screen icons, text etc is far too
big. Anything obvious I'm missing?

BTW - I'm pretty hopeless at techno stuff so keep answers
simple please!!
