For some reason, I inserted a floppy disk into my A:\ drive and it looked
fine (no damages, not bent, nothing) but it doesn't come back out. I tried
with a paper clip and it is still stuck. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thin needle-nose pliers worked for me. Some discs get distorted and need
persuasion. No problem.

This usually happens when the shutter is bent. Instead of a paper
clip try using a credit card. A flashlight to help you see what
you're doing wouldn't be a bad idea either. And don't try and
force anything. Get the credit card positioned so it's on top of
the shutter and hit the eject button.

If it's really jammed in, go and spend $10 to buy a new floppy drive and save
all the time and stuffing around.

The floppy disk itself won't be worth using again, and if you are too
aggressive with its removal, you may also damage the drive unit itself.

Cnsider the value of your time in monetary terms and weigh up the cost of
the $10.

On some of the new cases with "sculptured" front panels there is a
possibility that the disk drive is not correctly aligned with the slot
in the front panel, and the diskette binds against the top or the
bottom of the front panel rather than sliding through the slot.

In most computers the diskette drive is mounted in a small
sub-assembly rack just below the CDROM drive(s) and it only takes one
or two screws to remove the entire rack including the diskette drive
and (in some instances) the hard drive as well. It should then be
easier to try to eject the diskette and to see what is causing the
problem.

Good luck
