3 1/2 Floppy Disk

Every time I insert a 3 1/2 Floppy Disk into my A Drive, it says the
selected disk drive is not in use. I went into my computer and clicked on
properties on 3 1/2 Floppy Drive (A), but it said the selected disk drive is
not in use. Check to make sure a disk is inserted. I looked at it said my
floppy disk drive is working properly, but every time I insert a disk, this
message keeps on coming up. Can someone help me? Thanks.
