I put a cd in the drive and I reebooted the system, and after that it make a
weird sound and found out it was stuck. I tried putting a paper clip in the
front hole, but nothing happend. Any suggestions?
Well, the emergency eject isn't a one time powered eject. It's a
manual ratchet system. To do a manual eject with it, you have to put
the straightened paper clip in, apply pressure (you'll feel the gears
move). Then pull it back out and repeat. You usually have to do
that a few times before you actually see any real movement from the
tray.
If the CD or some foreign material has really jammed the mechanism,
the last resort is to pull the drive, unscrew the drive cover and see
if you can figure something out. Sometimes it's as simple as tapping
the CD back in alignment, or putting a belt back that's popped off.
Worst case, well, at least you got your CD back...
