Disk Quotas

Hello

We are interested in implementing disk quotas on our existing FTP server.
This server is already in production and we have found it necessary t use the
Disk Quotas feature to manage disk space.

Upon implementing thsi feature, will it be necessary to reboot the server?
Can I make the necssary configurations while in production and not effect
operations?

Thank you for your assistance,

Assuming you are using the quota functionality built in to Windows 2000
Server or Windows Server 2003, you should be able to implement quotas
without having to restart the server. Depending on the size of the volume
you have, it will take some time for the volume to be scanned while disk
usage information is gathered, and access to the volume may be impaired
during this time.
