Disk Full Cannot Boot

My Dad copied a bunch of pictures and filled his HD and now his PC will
not get past the boot screen. It states the disk is full and then
reboots.

Any tricks out there to get past this? He is on a boat traveling and
it is highly unlikely that he has a boot disk although he may have the
XP OS disk.

See if he can boot to Safe Mode (press the F8 key during the initial power
up sequence) and from there delete some of those files.
