Disk Defrag not working Win XP

I have lost disk defrag. When I start-up defrag from the
accessories It comes back with Snap-in failed
Disk defragmenter CLSID:{436681E21-2636-11D1-A1CE-0080C88593A5} When I
click OK it goes away and doesn't start. Can anyone help with this please.
It was working until I got hit with a Trojan. I think the removal tool took
the Disk Defrag with it.

Try using the System File Checker command SFC /SCANNOW to fix this. Complete

You should run disk cleanup utility before defrag,then try going to run,type:cmd
