Disk Cleanup

Hi, when I try to do a disk clean-up it starts analizing how much space can be liberated and it takes a long time. and it just stays analizing. last time I left it for like 4 hours and it was still analizing (it was in the same place). when it's analizing it has like some little lines (more like squares) that have to fill up before the disk clean up actually starts, it only goes up to the third little line and it wont advance from there.. What can I do???
