Disconnected Network Drives

I am connecting to my companies network using first ADSL
and secondly our global network client.
From one day to the next my PC decided that it could no
longer access the network drives I had mapped. If I go in
to the office and connect to the LAN, my network drives are
connected for the duration of my visit. As soon as i try
from my home they are innaccesible. It's not only annoying,
it is impacting my ability to do any work with this
operating system at all. I think it's time for Mac.
