Disconnect doesn't work

I can not disconnect from my dial-up connection. I have
to reboot my computer. I've tried all the software to get
rid of spy-ware and am running norton with live updates.
This started happening after I loaded the IE6 update and
the security update for W2K.

I have reloaded W2K and nothing has taken care of this
problem.

Take a look at the RASDIAL command.

Start a command prompt. Start | Run Type cmd in the box and click OK.

Type "rasdial /?" without the quotes at the command prompt.

Observe the parameters ... would the /DISCONNECT parameter solve your
problem.
