My computer sometimes crashes on start up. I get a message that my disc needs
to be checked for consistency. I recently installed XP, 256megs of ram, and a
new CD burner. I have used computers for years but I am not familiar with
making upgrades and loading software. Any Ideas?

Go to the following website and scroll down to the "Check Disk - Disk
