Disappearing windows

When I hit CTRL-ALT-DEL, the task window appears for a brief second and then
disappears. It is not on my task bar or running anywhere.

In addition when I go to "run" msconfig, the same thing happens. The window
appears for a split second and then disappears. HELP!

It does not do this in Safe Mode but that doesn't do me much good for
obvious reasons. Here's what I have tried:

1. I have disabled everything running in my task bar including Norton
anti-virus, anti-spam, weatherbug etc.

Hi Alan,

You have a virus, possibly Klez or Yaha, both of which are known to disable
the system tools. You can use the emergency tools described here while you
clean the bug off:

You will be best off trying to remove it in Safe mode. Free virus removal
