Disappear Prints

I have a Compaq SP750 Workstation running XP Pro, when I
print a test page or print from any application the print
appears in the printer diaglog box and then disappears
without printing. The printer is a HP Laserjet 6L
connected to the local parrallel port. I do not receive
any error messages after the print disappears and the same
problem occurs if I try and print from DOS using a BOOT
Disk.

I'm just about to run the Compaq Diags to test the printer
port and I have already test the cable and printer with
another workstation. Incase it ins't a hardware fault adn
anyone has come across a similar problem let me know

Same problems here Gary, except I'm sharing a printer,
can print a test page but that's it. If you ever figure
this out let me know and vice versa....
