Disabling XP screen saver

Need to know how to disable XP screen saver temporarily to troubleshoot system problem. Can anyone tell me how? Thanks much!
 
Yeah hi simply right click on your main Sceen.Down to
Properties!*click and you should see the prompt from
there.Go to screen saver and choose NONE were it says
select image.

Try this.
Right click the Desktop | Properties | Screen Saver tab |
Click the V | Highlight: NONE | Apply | OK
