Go into Internet Options >connections tell it to never dial. You will be on
a LAN. Hook modem>router>PC . Configure the router for your connection.
Don't use the dial up connection in the PC. Make sure DHCP is enabled in the
router and autoconfiguration is used under TCP/IP and under advanced>wins>
NetBIOS over tcp/ip. Set your email on LAN also and to never dial out. Now
you are always online whenever you start the computer so don't dial up. Oh
and uncheck the built-in firewall.
