disabling IMs

Hi;

My 13 year old daughter is suppoded to be using the computer to do her
homework, but she keeps getting side tracked with friends IMing her (I
think she probably initiates a lot of them too). I am considering
removing Yahoo and Microsoft IM from the computer. Before I do that,
are there any sugestions on how I could password protect those apps so
she couldnt use them unless I allow it first?

Thanks for any ideas.

Give your daughter her own Windows account. Password protect yours. Then use
the shared computer toolkit from Microsoft.

Excellent idea. Or trust her and let her IM after she gets her work done.
