Some programs have settings within they're prefferences. Take any programs
out of start menu/programs/startup for you and the "all users" account".
lastly go to start/run type "msconfig" and select the startup tab.
Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft > Windows >Current
Version > Run
The keys are programs that run at startup. Just delete any .exes that you
don't want to fire up.
Be careful - the registry is open heart surgery - notice that there isnt an
'undo' option........................
