Disable home folder redirect only in Terminal services

We are running Windows 2000 service pack 4.
The people on the domain all have their home folders redirected when they
logon. This is done from their Profile tab within their Active Directory
Properties.

We are running our scheduling and billing application through Terminal
Services which is located at another site.

The problem is, when they logon to the application through TS, it seems to
map a drive back to their home folder, which in turn drags down the system. I
know this because if I disable their home folder redirect, the application
speed is not dragged down.

Is there any way, to keep the folder redirection when they logon to the
domain from their local machine, but disable folder redirection from their TS
logon?

Setting the profile & home folder paths in the user account is NOT folder
redirection, this simply sets a roaming profile path and network home folder.
These settings do not redirect the My Documents, without also enabling
Folder Redirection in Group Policy.

If you simply want a different profile and/or home folder for Terminal
Server logons, then utilize the Profile Path & Home Folder entries on the
Terminal Services Profile tab in the user's account. If these entries are
not made, the will use the entries on the Profile tab.

You could disable "Folder Redirection" via loopback policy, if you have the
TS in its' own OU, and user accounts in another OU. You could even redirect
to another location using a loopback policy.
