Drive Redirection Problem

I have a new build 2003 TS.
A user has an H: drive mapped in the Home Folder section on the Profile tab
of the user properties within AD.
On th OU containing the server I have a GPO with 'Do not allow drive
redirection' set to Enable. There is no local policy.
The user still carries the H: drive forward to the TS session. This I do not
want.
Any help on this appreciated.

Local drive redirection has no influence on the home drive which
you define in the user account properties, as you have noticed.

If users are not allowed to access their home drive from within a
TS session (although it escapes me why you would want to prohibit
this), you can't define the home drive in AD. You will have to
define it in a login script instead, and make sure that the login
script is only executed when users logon to their workstation, not
when they logon to the TS.

Note that users still will have full permissions to their home
drives, so they will be able to create a custom connection to their
home drive, if they know how to use the "net use" command.
And do *not* believe that you can prevent them from using the "net
use" command simply by removing the "Run" command from the Start
Menu!

Thank you for your explanation.
I can live with them having their H:\ drive.

Mike.
