directx 9.0c

hi,

i currently have directx 9.0b on my computer and i am trying to instal
the 9.0c version from the microsoft website. After it downloads bu
before it installs i get the message "the cabinet file necessary fo
installation cannot be trusted"

Can someone please help me in simple terms how to combat this problem

Seems to mee that you should disable what ever you have running when trying
to install dx 9c, if there is a firewall, or virus program running in the
background it could cause problems. Try closing them, and then try to install
dx 9c
