directx 9.0b problem

Why i cant install directx 9.0b? when i try to install it, there appear message end of the installation that:" directx setup could not find a required inf file." where is the problem? wats inf file?
my current directx version is 9.0...but sum games need 9.0b....so please help!
 
no... but im getting my computer fixed and im going to ask about this, so i can tell then....
but if anyone have answer to me, please tell it...
