I download DirectX 9.0 and restart my computer. I look for DirectX 9.0 and cannot find anything.

When i download DirectX 9.0 and install it's components i am asked to restart my computer. When i do and look for DirectX on my system , it cannot be found

Click "Start=>Run=>dxdiag" and see what you get.

If you click start\run\ then type "dxdiag" (without quotation marks) in the
box \ ok \ then on the system tab\ look for DX Version, there you will see
what version you have installed.
