Dim Display

I have an ACER TravelMate 4220AWLMi at work. I came in this morning and the
display is very dim. I am primarily a mac user and I'm not sure how to fix
this problem. This is computer is used by multiple people so I'm no sure if
someone changed some settings or if something is wrong with the computer.
Anyone have any suggestions? They would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a key combination (Fn+Brightness up) you could try?
Something in the BIOS?
