TravelMate 2200 what USB?

Does anyone know if the USB ports on my Acer TravelMate 2200 are USB 1.0 or 1.1?
I ask as i'm trying to use a USB flash drive, the pc makes bleeps when i plug it in, but does not see it in My Computer? The laptop is possibly 5 to 6 years old i think?

Think its USB 2 it should be backward compatable to.

When i plug in a USB 2 flash drive the computer bleeps but nothing comes up in My Computer.
Therefore i think the the USB ports may be USB 1 & not USB 1.1 as i thought.
The laptop is getting on, but wanted to transfer documents for safe keeping.

Problem solved!
One of the USB ports is dodgy but the other 2 are fine & the laptop see's the flash drive OK.
