Chromebook?

Thinking of buying a Chromebook?
Acer C720 Celeron with 16GB SDD, 2GB RAM with 11.6"Screen.
Mainly going to be used to surf net at home & on the move.
Any good?
Any plus points?
Any bad points?

Would save everything to usb flash drives or to external hdd.
So any views or should i spend £150 more and buy a new laptop.

Hello, I have two Chromebooks, an Acer C710, 11.6 inch, and a Toshiba 13 inch.

I love mine, but I mainly them as secondary computers. Web browsing is great on them. I love how fast they boot. I do most of my work on a desktop, but I do most of my casual browsing on my Chromebook.

The only negative I have run into is when you are trying to use them for not browser related tasks. Especially when you don't have an internet connection.

As for getting one of these instead of a new laptop, I have a laptop but I have only used it one time since I got my Chromebook.
