So what is Google Chrome OS like?
Thinking of getting a chromebook mainly to surf the net wirelessly at home & on the move.
Is the amount of RAM important with Google Chrome as most only offer 2GB RAM?

Anyone used it?
Whats it like?
Good points?
Bad points?
Overall performance?

I use it, err, well I use Chrome Browser, which is the same thing ... :)

With Chrome, the browser actually is the OS -- in this case, the Chrome OS builds on the Google browser of the same name. In total, the Chrome OS is built on an open-source version of Linux and integrated with the Chrome browser, a simple media player...and that's it.

You don't need a hard drive, it's all in the Clouds. (so, eventually they could charge you for access)

Chrome OS is free.

A mate has one that I play on when I visit him and it is perfect for surfing the tinternet. And being Linux based it doesn't need a large amount of RAM
