Hello,
could somebody help me?
We use self defined styles like H1, H2, H2noTOC for your headings.
When we create a toc the first time, we use the command "insert -
reference - toc and index" (hope my back-translating from german
interface to english if is correct).
In the dialog mask I define H1 Level 1, H2 beeing Level 2. H2noTOC is
NOT in the toc.
The resulting toc is ok.
Updating the toc by using the command "update fields" work fine
(checking the field function also shows the corrrect code).
Updating the toc by again using the command "insert - reference - toc
and index" does not work correctly because Word automatically makes a
checkmark at H2noTOC Level 2. I have to click off the checkmark every
time. The only solution for that is, to define the H2noToc beeing normal
Text (Format) not a Heading.
Can anybody tell me the idea behind that?
