Hi,
Windows mail did not import info from Outlook express account (emails,
contacts, etc.). How do I retrieve?

Bring along the .wab file if you want the old contacts. Put all the copied
files into
one previously empty directory on the hard drive of your Vista computer. A
directory you just created under your Documents directory is a good place.
Makr sure all the copied files are read-write instead of readonly before you
tell Windows Mail to import the whole directory containing them.
This should import all the old messages, but may or may not import the old
contacts. If it doesn't, start Windows Mail, then in its main directory
click
on Tools, then Windows Contacts, then Import, then Windows Address
Book (Outlook Express contacts), then Import, then find the .wab file and
click on it, then Close, then close the contacts window. This should import
all the individual contacts, but will not import the contact groups
properly.
Note that the autocompletion feature in Windows Mail does not use the
contacts list.
