Windows Vista Mail - Microsoft Outlook 2003 pst file

Hi,
Have had to get new laptop and new office package - which does not include
Outlook. I have a back up copy of my pst file from Outlook, can I retrieve
all my emails and contact info into Vista Windows Mail?

Have set up the email accounts and they are all working fine.

Only by opening it with Outlook.
You could uninstall your Home and Student version of Office, download and
install a Trial version of Office Standard, attach the pst file to Outlook
then import in Windows Mail.
Then uninstall the trial, re-boot and re-install your Home and Student.
Other than that, find a friend who has Outlook who would let you do a
similar operation on his/her computer....
