dialog box

When I load windows xp I get a box on the screen with a wide dark blue stripe
on top. Within this stripe is the word dialog. The main body of the box is
empty. It stays there until I X it out. Does anyone know what that box
means???

Nope, but you could start Taskmanager and see what "disappears" when you
"X it out". and then you would have some idea to work off of!
