Dialog box when USB drive inserted missing

Windows used to pop up a dialog box asking what I wanted to do with the
contents of a usb thumb drive when first inserted. Now when I insert usb
drives, They are assigned a drive letter, but I get no Windows popup asking
what I want to do. How do I turn that feature back on.

Thanks,

Bob

To change how your computer handles multimedia content
Open My Computer.
Under Devices with Removable Storage, right-click the device you want, such
as a digital camera or CD-ROM drive, and then click Properties.
On the AutoPlay tab, click the multimedia content type you want to change.
Under Actions, click the action you want Windows to perform when it detects
the media type you selected.

Thanks for the quick reply, but when I looked where you suggested each media
type has "promt me each time to choose an action" selected, which is what I
want, but it is not working. No autoplay dialog box pops up to select an
action.

Thanks,

Bob
