dialing automatically -internet shared computer

i have configured Internet sharing for 2 computers
running win XP pro.The problem is the second computer
keeps dialing through the shared PC even without Opening
IE or any application

I have what sounds like the exact same problem. Running
windows XP Home on main computer and sharing connection on
Win 98 machine. XP Machine works fine but as soon as I
boot up the Win 98 machine, the main computer dials my
ISP. It keeps trying again and again as long as the
second (win98) machine is open regardless of what apps are
being used on the machine. I've looked everywhere for
solution. Ran virus scanner and Adware, disabled "dial
internet Connection automatically) -- I'm stumped. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
