workgroup and internet

i netwoked 6 computer in Workgroup.All of computers on Win xp Pro.The
computers are connected on switch.I puted name of computers on this
workgroup,IP addresses.I closed windows firewall.
I hava a problem 3 computer don't work because a cable.I will change
it.But the computer that i puted like the head computer when he try go
in on one of computers that is in network.i need a password that i can
go in client computer.How i can find to solution?How i can clear a
password?
Second question.
I have a cable internet.On head computer i have two network
adapter,first for network,second for internet.How i can share this
connection on 6 computers.
Third question. there's some other protocol over which i can make my
network but it's not TCP/IP?Which protocol is the best for this work?

I'm not totally reading what your first question is, but I gather it's related
to Windows Networking and file sharing. See if this article is any help.

Second, for the head computer, run the Network Setup Wizard, and choose:
This computer connects directly to the Internet. The other computers on my
network connect to the Internet through this computer.
Then run the NSW on the other computers, and choose:
This computer connects to the Internet through another computer on my network or
through a residential gateway.
The head computer runs Internet Connection Sharing, which makes it a residential
gateway.

Third, you can (CAN) run IPX/SPX, or NetBEUI. But be aware of the limitations.
