You can share a dial-up connection

I have been told tons of times that you cannot share a dial-up connection
with other computers, but guess what? I did.
I have an HP laptop that is connected to the internet and I have two other
computers that can connect to the internet through the HP computer.

Why do people say that you cannot share a dial-up connection?
If you know why, e-mail me at

People who know what they are talking about *don't* say you can't share
a dialup connection. You've been able to do this with ICS since Windows
95. You've been talking to the wrong people.

Also, I hope you enjoy all the new spam your hotmail account will now
get since you posted it unmunged on Usenet. Maybe you don't care since
perhaps it's just a throwaway account.

Elijah,

You can share a dialup connection. We have known that for a long time.

Giving help here involves answering the questions, asked by others, here. Not
dropping bits of unsolicited wisdom.
