Dialer Updater Annoyance

Could use some help on this SP2 annoyance:
Immediately after I use the dialup connection and connect
to the internet, I get this error message box:

Checking for Dialer Update
Error 404: Can't resolve hostname to IP address.

Can someone tell me how to get rid of this message? I've
been through a zillion settings and nothing. Have also
used the spyware programs to no avail.

Have you try calling your ISP provider and ask them what
it means when getting error code 404 ???
 
Thanks for the tip. I got a newer installer program from my ISP site and ran
it, and the problem disappeared. Appreciate the direction...Mike
